Personal Information
Kathleen Widdoes earned a Tony nomination and an Outer Critics Circle Award for her performance as Beatrice in Joseph Papp’s Broadway production of Much Ado About Nothing . Other Broadway credits include Brighton Beach Memoirs , Gertrude in Hamlet at Roundabout and the American premiere of Harold Pinter’s Moonlight . She has won two Obie Awards: as Polly in The Beggar’s Opera at BAM and as Margaret in CSC’s The Tower of Evil. For her work on “As the World Turns” she has been nominated for four Emmy Awards.
