Alexandra Beller

Personal Information

Alexandra Beller, Artistic Director of Alexandra Beller/Dances, (2002-present), was a member of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance Company from 1995-2001 and has worked with Martha Clarke, John Turturro and others. Alexandra has created over 40 original Dance Theatre works, both for her own and other Companies throughout the U.S. and in Hong Kong, Korea, Oslo, Amsterdam, and Cyprus. She has choreographed for Hudson Valley Shakespeare Festival (Two Gentlemen of Verona, As You Like It) Bedlam Theatre Company (Sense and Sensibility), Taylor Mac, Soomi Kim, Theatre Askew, and others. Alexandra holds a BFA in Dance, MFA in Dance and CMA (Certified Movement Analyst) in Laban Movement Analysis and Bartenieff Fundamentals. (Biography dated 04/15/2016 )
