Founding Artistic Director of Congo Square Theatre. His 2005 staging of Seven Guitars garnered three Jeff Awards (Best Director, Ensemble and Play). His other Honors include four Black Theatre Alliance Awards, two African American Arts Alliance Awards and an After Dark Award.
