Joel Higgins has had many featured and starring roles as an actor and singer on Broadway: Shenandoah (Theatre World Award), Music Is, Angel (Drama Desk Nom), Oklahoma, City Of Angels. Off-Broadway and national tours: Al Carmine’s Camp Meeting and Grease. Regional productions: Brigadoon, Kiss Me Kate, The Foreigner, Harvey, The Music Man, Showboat, Guys And Dolls, She Loves Me, Side By Side By Sondheim. Television series: Salvage I, Best Of The West, Silver Spoons, Have Faith. TV films: Laura Lansing Slept Here, Bare Essence, Freshman Year, Rich Men, Single Women, Killing At Hellsgate. Series guest star: Home Improvement, Ed, Jag, Two Guys And A Girl. He directed, co-wrote and performed in The Green Apple Nasties Revue, directed episodes of Silver Spoons and wrote numerous commercial scores and TV theme songs with Marty Silvestri as well as the book and lyrics to their sung-thru musical The Fields Of Ambrosia which premiered at New Jersey’s George Street Playhouse and subsequently played the Aldwych on London’s West End.
