Jason Petty

Personal Information

Jason Petty is honored to reprise the role of Hank, which he debuted in 1996 at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. Mr. Petty has researched the role extensively, interviewing friends, family and band members of the legend, earning national and international acclaim for his portrayal. He is honored to work once again with Randal Myler and Dan Wheetman, having also performed in their musical Appalachian Strings. Mr. Petty, a veteran actor, writer and musician, studied with Barry Scott, Professor of Theatre Arts at Tennessee State University. He wishes to thank his wife, Hope, for her unquestioned love and support, his parents, grandmother, and, of course, Hank!
