Gordon MacDonald

Personal Information
Gordon MacDonald has appeared in the New York productions of Invention for Fathers and Sons and A Company of Angels, both by playwright Alan Brody; Michael Weller's Ghost on Fire; The Rivalry of Dolls and Magda both by James Purdy; and Sartre's The Respectful Prostitute, among others. He completed a five month run of Trumbo at the Westside Theatre. He won the Dean Goodman Award for San Jose Rep's production of Marina Carr's By the Bog of Cats, opposite Holly Hunter. Other regional credits include A Dybbuk by Tony Kushner and Moon for the Misbegotten (both at Hartford Stage), Beast on the Moon, Les Liasons Dangereuses, The Glass Menagerie, Extremities and others. Film and television work includes Terrence Malik's The Thin Red Line and Al Pacino's Looking for Richard. He has made numerous guest starring appearances on Law and Order and filmed EDNY, a pilot for NBC directed by Tony Drazen.
